Komponist, Klang- und Medienkünstler
*1973 in Wien, studierte Architektur an der Technischen Universität Wien, Computermusik und elektronischen Medien am Institut für Elektroakustik der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien, Medienkomposition und Computermusik sowie Komposition an der Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz und Jazz-/Fusiongitarre am American Institut of Music. In seinen Stücken und Arbeiten beschäftigt er sich mit Aspekten von Raum und Transformation. Er war Forscher und Künstler beim künstlerischen Forschungsprojekt Rotting Sounds in Kooperation mit der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien und ist derzeit Forscher beim künstlerischen Forschungsprojekt SADISS in Kooperation mit der Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität. Zahlreiche Konzerte und Aufführungen sowie Kooperationen führten ihn u. a. zum Festival ZeitRäume Basel, zu Wien Modern und Ö1 Kunstradio, an das Wiener Volkstheater, an das Wiener Burgtheater, an das ZKM Karlsruhe zur Ars Electronica in Linz und zum Kunstenfestivaldesarts Brüssel, an die Gessnerallee Zürich, nach Fylkingen in Stockholm und an das Teaterhuset Avantgarden Trondheim. 2023 erhielt er das österreichische Staatsstipendium für Komposition.
Composer, sound and media artist
*1973 in Vienna, studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna, computer music and electronic media at the Institute for Electroacoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, media composition and computer music as well as composition at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz and Jazz/fusion guitar at the American Institute of Music. In his pieces and works he deals with aspects of space and transformation. He was a researcher and artist in the artistic research project Rotting Sounds in cooperation with the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and is currently a researcher in the artistic research project SADISS in cooperation with the Anton Bruckner Private University. Numerous concerts and performances as well as collaborations have taken him to, among others, to the ZeitRäume Basel festival, to Wien Modern and Ö1 Kunstradio, to the Vienna Volkstheater, to the Vienna Burgtheater, to the ZKM Karlsruhe, to Ars Electronica in Linz and to the Kunstenfestivaldesarts Brussels, to Gessnerallee Zurich, to Fylkingen in Stockholm and to the Teaterhuset Avantgarden Trondheim. In 2023 he received the Austrian state scholarship for composition.
